A Beautiful Journey
She gives me four million reasons to share my story. She shows me strength, hope and independence. She has turned many obstacles into opportunities and has led me straight, through "A Beautiful Journey."
When one door opened, I reflected and had to open another door which suited me. My walk of passage encouraged me to define my self - worth, brought me back to reality and changed what could have become of me if I had not shifted my focus. I have come a long way. I am a miracle and know that GOD has saved me.
Throughout my years, I have been under "pressure" trying to claim time and rectify the abuse of my early childhood. The word "abuse" should not be taken lightly. "Nearly 700,000 children are abused in the U.S annually," and, "on average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape - more than 12 million women and men over the course of a year."
Together, we must "Stand Up" and make the difference of this abuse epidemic. I have taken a stance. I am alive and here to tell my story.
